Kathy Hogan Trochek

   Kathy Hogan Trochek, who has also written novels under the pseudonym Mary Kay Andrews, is the author of the Callahan Garrity mystery novels. She graduated from the University of Georgia with a B. A. in journalism and worked as a reporter for the Atlanta Journal Constitution. Her novels have been nominated for numerous awards, such as the Macavity, Edgar, and Anthony Awards. She is married and lives in Atlanta, Georgia.
  Trochek introduced Callahan Garrity in Every Crooked Nanny. Callahan, former Atlanta police woman and failed private detective, is persuaded by her mother Edna Mae to buy a cleaning company, House Mouse. This should be a simple occupation, but Callahan finds herself in the middle of mysteries and murders througout the series.
