Nina Wright

Nina Wright earned master's degrees in English literature and applied linguistics. She is a member of the Society of Book Writers and the Authors' Guild. She is a teacher, a playwright, and a director, but we enjoy her best as the author of the Whiskey Mattimoe Mysteries. Whiskey Mattimoe is a realtor who finds murderers with the help of her late (deceased) husband's blond Afghan Abra. There are presently three Whiskey Mattimoe books ( Whiskey Straight Up, Whiskey on the Rocks, Whiskey & Tonic) with a fourth (Whiskey & Water) due out in early 2008. The Whiskey Mattimoe books are set in fictional Magnet Springs, Michigan, but Wright spends much of her time in Florida.
   Wright also writes children's books and plays.
