About the Author:

Kay Hooper
Kay Hooper's first book, Lady Thief, was a Regency
romance, but it was the first of a series now known as The Thief Series. Morgan West, the exhibit director who worked for the wealthy
Bannister family, met the elusive international thief known only as Quinn in Once
a Thief. Together they uncover secrets and plots involving the Bannister
Collection. They continued to be involved in romance and mystery in Always a
Thief.
Hooper's most successful books is a series of psychic thrillers that evolve from book to book. Each book includes more
characters with special skills who join Noah Bishop's Special Crimes Unit, a para-normal
off-shoot of the FBI. Noah Bishop, the Unit Chief, and Miranda Bishop are
touch-telepaths and seers and appear together in Touching Evil, Whisper of
Evil, and Chill of Fear. In Hunting Fear Hooper displays the diverse
and unique powers of the Unit's members. Lucas Jordan, the
telepath/empath is obsessed with finding missing persons. Kendra Eliot picks up
'vibes' from objects. Tony Harte picks up 'vibes' of emotion. Samantha Burke
sometimes 'experiences' visions. They team up to locate a missing girl. Galen,
who has the uncanny ability to 'disappear', is there to watch over all of them.
The other books in the "Bishop" series are: Stealing Shadows,
Hiding in the Shadows, Sense of Evil, Chill of Fear, and Sleeping with
Fear.
Kay Hooper presently lives in North
