Lee Goldberg
Lee Goldberg writes mystery books. He also writes and produces television shows. He writes nonfiction as well. He put himself through UCLA as a freelance journalist. He is amazingly prolific for such a young writer. He published his first book, .357 Vigilante, as Ian Ludlow (so his book would be next to Robert Ludlum's books on the shelf). He is a TV writer and producer of many popular series of various genres: SeaQuest, Martial Law, Diagnosis Murder, Nero Wolfe. His recent most popular series, Monk, is based on his obsessive-compulsive detective Adrian Monk. He has received two Edgar Award nominations for his TV work. He is currently on the board of Mystery Writers of America.
Lee Goldberg and his wife and daughter live in Los Angeles where he works.
