Alice Kimberly is the joint pen name of the husband-wife writing team of
Alice Alfonsi and Mark Cerasini. They write a series of mystery novels
set in a bookstore with a resident ghost P.I. Jack Shepard. Penelope
Thornton-McClure, owner of Buy the Book Bookstore, while exasperated with the ghost's hauntings, finds she needs his help to solve the murders she encounters.
Alfonsi and Cerasini were originally from Pittsburgh but met in New
York City. They do much of their writing in coffeehouses -- which led
to their other series, the Coffee House Mysteries series.
