Max Allan Collins is one of today's most prolific authors. He has written for every mystery genre there is from comic books and news papers to novels and screenplays. His graphic novel, Road to Peridition, based on a real-life hit man's life, was made into a movie starring Tom Hanks. Recently, he has been turning out novels based on movie/TV shows such as CSI, Air Force One, and The Mummy Returns. He has earned ten Private Eye Writers of America Shamus nominations and won twice for his thrillers featuring Nathan Heller, a Chicago private eye who meets famous people as he solves crimes. He wrote another series about a mystery writer name Mallory who solves crimes. He has most-recently written novels based on real-life disasters: The Titanic Murders, The Hindenberg Murders, The Pearl Harbor Murders, The Lusitania Murders, and The London Blitz Murders.
Max Allan Collins lives with his wife, writer Barbara Collins, and his son.
