Harlan Corben
Harlan Corben won the Edgar Award, Agatha Award, Shamus Award, and the Shamus Award and has been nominated for most of the other prestigious awards for various other novels written since his first Myron Bolitar novel was published in 1995. Deal Breaker, the first Bolitar novel, was his third novel, but the first of eight featuring ex-basketball player turned sports agent whose clients find themselves in peculiar jams requiring Bolitar's assistance. Corben graduated from Amherst College with a political science major, but he found he had more of a talent for writing. He is married to Anne Armstrong-Corben, a pediatrician. He lives with his wife and four children in New Jersey.
