About the Author:

Toni L. P. Kelner
Toni L. P. Kelner is a multi-faceted writer in the mystery genre. She enjoys writing limericks, many of which have a mystery theme, and have been published in many mystery magazines. While in school, she wrote fantasy and science fiction, but her success came from her mysteries, especially short story mysteries. Her short stories have been published in Ellery Queen Mystery Magazine, Mystery Scene, Murderous Intent Mystery Magazine, to name a few. "Sleeping With The Plush" earned her an Agatha for Best Short Story of 2006. She has also been nominated for the Anthony and Macavity Awards. She has written stand-alone mysteries, but her most popular series is The Down Home Mysteries, a cozy series featuring Laura Fleming. Laura, like her creator, moved to Boston from North Carolina to marry. Laura gets drawn into family situations in North Carolina that often involve mysteries and murders. The protagonist in Kelner's newer series, Tilda Harper, is a celebrity journalist who writes "Whatever Happened To..." articles and often finds that "what happened" is murder. Kelner lives with her husband Stephen Paul Kelner, also a writer, and her two daughters in Malden, Massachusetts.
