Deep Shaker
About the Author:

Les Roberts
Les Roberts went to Cleveland,
OH from LA to produce the Ohio Lottery
program and never left. When he created his Slovenian detective, Milan
Jacovich, and incorporated local Cleveland landmarks in his first novel, Pepper Pike, he became an instant "favorite adopted
son". Although many of the thirteen Jacovich mystery novels, such as Full
Cleveland, The Duke of Cleveland,
The Irish Sports Pages, and The Best Kept Secret, depicted the
seamier side of Cleveland society, the number of Roberts' Cleveland fans increased. His other Cleveland-based
detective novels are: Deep Shaker, The Cleveland
Connection, The Lake Effect, Collision Bend,
The Cleveland Local,
A Shoot in Cleveland,
The Indian Sign, and The Dutch.
Roberts authored a series of Saxon books that are now out of print but
can be found on Amazon.com and in used books stores. His main character, Saxon,
was an LA actor turned private eye and apeared in An Infinite Number of
Monkeys, Not Enough Horses, A Carrot for the Donkey, Snake Oil, Seeing the
Elephant, and The Lemon Chicken Jones. Roberts spent his early years in Chicago and now lives in Cleveland, OH.
