Blaze Johnson

Blaze Johnson is the son of Gertie Johnson in the Deb Baker Yooper series of mystery novels. He is the sheriff of Stonely, MI on the Escanaba River and is not especially energetic about doing his job. He is basically well-meaning and tries to prevent his mother, Gertie, from getting herself into dangerous situations when she is trying to solve crimes in Stonely, MI.
