Kitty

Kitty is one of Gertie Johnson's best friends in the Deb Baker Yooper mystery series. She is referred to as pin-curled Kitty because her hair is usually in pin curls. She is heavy and Gertie's so-called body guard. Better educated than Gertie -- or most of the characters in the Yooper series -- she doesn't have any more common sense than the rest of the characters found in the Yooper series.
