Sofia Metropolis

   Sofia Metropolis is the private detective in Tori Carrington's hot-boiled private detective series. She was introduced in Sofie Metropolis in 2005. In that book, Sofia found her fiance and maid of honor in each other's arms on her wedding day. Rather than work in her father's Greek restaurant, she went to work for her Uncle Spyros' detective agency. She is addicted to frappes and is very quick to use her gun. In fact, she shot her own client in the knee. She works in the Astoria, Queens area of New York.
