Leonidas Witherall

   Leonidas Witherall is a Shakespeare look-alike former teacher who secretly writes pulp fiction in Phoebe Atwood Taylor's series written under the pseudonym of Alice Tilton. There was a Mutual Radio series, The Adventures of Leonidas Witherall, based on this character. He often found himself the prime suspect in some of the novels and radio programs requiring him to use disguises and oddball assistants to help him resolve the crimes and clear himself.
