Nina Quinn

   Nina Quinn is the landscaper/amateur sleuth in Heather Webber's mystery series. She owns Taken By Surprise, a company that does surprise landscaping makeovers. Often "taken by surprise" herself, she finds herself digging up corpses and other mysteries. In the first two Nina Quinn books, Nina is an ex-cop but that aspect of her life is not mentioned in the later books. She is divorced from a faithless ex-cop, fired from the force, who has a terrible teenage son that she is also glad to be divorced from.
