Judy Clemens
Judy Clemens is the author of the Stella Crown mystery series. She drew on her own Mennonite background and love of motorcycles to create amateur sleuth Stella, a dairy farmer and motorcycle enthusiast. Clemens was nominated for Best First Novel for the Agatha Award and Anthony Award in 2005 for Till the Cows Come Home. Judy Clemens received a B.A. in theater from Goshen College and has written some one-act plays, one of which, Attics, was performed at Bethany Christian School's 50th Anniversary. She worked as a professional stage manager in Philadelphia. She and her family now live in northwestern Ohio. She is the President of the Ohio Chaptr of Sisters in Crime.
