Carol Higgins Clark

  Carol Higgins Clark was born in New York and graduated from Mt. Holyoke College with a B.A. degree. She has inherited the writing talent of her mother, Mary Higgins Clark, and has written four seasonal suspense novels with her mother: Deck the Halls, He Sees You When You're Sleeping, The Christmas Thief,  and Santa Cruise. Carol Higgins Clark is the creator of Los Angeles private detective Regan Reilly. She is the daughter of a famous suspense writer mother (a bit autobiographical here) and funeral director father (not autobiographical). Carol's detective stories are more light-hearted and  humorous rather than suspenseful and has eccentric characters as opposed to the more serious and spiritual characters in her mother's novels.
   Carol has been an actress has appeared in plays and played the lead in the film A Cry In the Night. She has also created audio books and has read all the holiday novels written with her mother.
   
Carol and her mother often do book tours together. Carol lives in New York City.
