Dave White

Jackson Donne, hard-boiled private eye, is the creation of Dave White, an eighth grade English teacher from New Jersey. Jackson Donne first appeared in When One Man Dies in 2007. White's characters are a despicable lot, but their characters are well-done and interesting. White's recent The Evil That Men Do finds Donne is now an ex-private eye compelled to solve the murders of his aunt and uncle. His whole disfunctional family plays a part in this hard-boiled novel.
White has also written many short stories and was awarded the Derringer Award in 2005 for God's Dice. White lives and teaches in New Jersey.
