Carola Dunn

Carola Dunn's cozy Daisy Dalrymple mystery series is set in England after WW I and during the free-spirited '20's. Daisy is an Honorable, a daughter of a viscount, and an emancipated woman of her times. She meets Alec Fletcher, a Chief Inspector at Scotland Yard, in the first novel Death at Wentwater Court. Daisy visits New York during Prohibition and has run-ins with the FBI, NYPD, and even the U. S. Mail Service in The Cast of the Murdered Muckracker. Daisy lost her father, brother, and fiance during the war. This gives Daisy a dark side and explains her rather manic, at times, behavior. Dunn wrote fifteen Daisy Dalrymple mysteries, and the sixteenth, The Bloody Tower, will be in book stores in September, 2007.
Dunn was born and raised in England, lived for a long while in California, and now lives in Eugene, Oregon.
