Scott Turow

   Scott Turow has an impressive career as an attorney. He was a US Attorney in Chicago until 1986 when he became a partner in the Chicago law firm of Sonnenschein Nath & Rosenthal. He concentrates on white collar criminal defense and devotes a large part of his time pro bono. He has written eight fiction and two non-fiction books.
   He is a graduate of Amherst College and taught creative writing at Stanford. He is also a graduate of Harvard Law School.
   He was awarded The Silver Dagger Award in 1987 for his first legal thriller, Presumed Innocent.
   
He was married to painter Annette Turow and has three grown children. He currently lives in the Chicago area.
