S. J. Rozan
S. J. Rozan was born and raised in the Bronx and lives in Greenwich Village. Rozan is an architect in New York. She has a BA from Oberlin College and an MA in Architecture from SUNY/Buffalo. She has been nominated many times for Anthony, Shamus, and Macavity Awards and has won two Shamus Awards for Best Novel (Concourse - 1996 and Reflecting the Sky - 2002), the Anthony Award in 1998 for No Colder Place, the Macavity Award and the Edgar Award for Winter and Night in 2003. All were Best Novel awards. She has written eight mystery novels featuring private investigators Chinese-American Lydia Chin and Jewish Bill Smith as well as other stand alone mystery novels.
