A Stranger in My Grave

About the Author:

Margaret Millar

Margaret Millar was born in Canada but lived most of her life in the US. She majored in Classics at the University of Toronto. She worked as a screen writer for Warner Brothers for a time after WW II. She was such a talented mystery writer that readers and critics feel she would have been much better known had she not been overshadowed by her famous mystery-writer husband Kenneth Miller who wrote under the pseudonym Ross MacDonald. She won the Edgar Award for Best Novel of 1956 for A Beast in View, and in 1983 the Mystery Writers of America awarded her the Grand Master Award.
